A merchandising problem before a design problem.
Locale carries Birkenstock, Cariuma, Elka Collective, Arcaa, OAS Company and Kore Studios, and a customer who arrives already knowing the label has no interest in starting at “clothing”.
the build
The taxonomy cut the way the floor is walked.
Shopify on Prestige, with clothing running down to jeans, jackets, knitwear, pants, shirts, shorts, sweats and tees, then accessories, perfumes, sunglasses and sneakers, then sale.
Priced and shipped in Australian dollars for a Sydney shopfront that also has to serve the rest of the country.
